ok i did nothing, it was the same, i just came back and i got a 218 ip and everything was like super fast, reboot my modem a few times still can a 218 ip and it was fast ...

not that was an hour ago, now suddenly i never reboot my modem also - but m ip changed, i thin they forced it frommtheir end after this guy by name of Yus called me and enquired bout my speed ... now i can not get back the 218 range, am on 60 range now, tried for 30 minutes ...

its now f***ing slow back, like before 5 - 6 kB/s

WTH........this is suks, u mean ur speed back to normal????

So now we got the evidence thats show TM could do the THING. MAybe they give u the 4MB allowance when they do the suprise visit. And after all set and down, with all the publicity......everything's BACK TO NORMAL....

Something really FISHY going on THERE.

NEway, can call back YUS to put the the 'EXACT' broadband speed??? i think tats not gonna be easy...Maybe need CEO to visit u again...Bump

Well, mr. earl, where do you live at? I'm in subang area and it seems all the ip ranges except 218.xx.x... and 60.48.... are NOT able to get good speeds (from bt to web surfing to gaming)

The ip address can change without you rebooting the modem by disconnecting/reassigning you at the central office (DSLAM).
It was previously reported that the 218 ip is the corporate user ip with very good speed. As the corporate guy (CEO) is not there and you are a home user, welcome to the 60.48 home user ip.

You've been had!

From my experience as the 60.48 ip gets used, the other ip addresses becomes available. Disconnect/reconnect during office hours on Monday and see what ip you can get. You can try tonight but i'm not sure if the 60.48 ip will be fully used.

im not sure but the technician told me if u want 218 IP, your port will be at the DSLAM located at the backbone office but the catch is your house is located more than 5km from there
so i got no choice since the nearest DSLAM to my house is only less than 50 meter but ip is 60.53

my company using SDSL getting 60.52.x.x ip
which is sux to the max,,, utube keep buffing

i have tried rebooting my modem on and off for the past 30 minutes too ... still cannot get back an ip from thr 218 pool, motherf***er ...

i am going to call up the CEO first thing in the morning ...

the problem was when he was here, i get low speed, but on his laptop - its fast ...

only that when he has left, 2 hours later, then only my speed was fast ... superb kinda fast ... thats till this morning ... one f***er called, by the name of Yus, then the speed dropped as somehow my ip was forced to change to diff pool

yesterday i switch on and off also can get from the 218 pool ... but today i can never seem to get one from the 218 pool ...

u tell me la ...

i just read this topic and go check my IP. and it is 218.208.236.xxx.

however, i think, my speed is no different with u all.
i did a speedtest just now and here the result;

* im using a router and the test was run with 2 computers using the net (surfing only).

so, about the 218. IP, is it true or it just me?

not all the ip 218 is fast & stable. my place can get 218.111, 218.208, 219.95 & 219.94. the only ip that i can get low ping is 219.94.(best for online gaming)

maybe make some movies or news to let the government know that TMnet is very fast, it is just that the rakyat malaysia computer very bad and infected with many virus so their internet very slow

Yeah, our computers are all diseased & infected with virus & malware so it's slow like a sick patient when using the internet.
