Hi MHN21,

Use toner refills (DIY), only if yr toner cartridge is in good condition.
If it is leaking ( visible from yr printouts - smears of toner powder .. ) then
u will need to send it to the shop to be reworked.

A refill will cost around RM50.
A reworked of the cartridge + refill will cost around RM80.

Prices quoted are what my friendly neighbourhood repair shop
charges me in Penang

not sure whether this will help.
steps are extracted from this url ( see below ) :

http://activerain.com/blogsview/423804/ref...toner-cartridge

Refilling a toner cartridge is quick and easy requiring no special skills. Toner cartridges have either a removable fill cap or you make a hole in the cartridge. If a hole is required we can provide the tool with your order. Detailed instructions and technical support are always provided. 100% satisfaction is guaranteed and we will always be there to help you with your questions.
Three easy steps to refill a cartridge:

1. Remove the fill cap or make a hole in the cartridge.

2. Using the refill funnel cap provided fill cartridge with toner through the hole.

3. Replace fill plug or seal hole with tape provided.

Done!

Thanks to Dan for providing these steps ...
