Hello guys, I've read all the pages in this thread but none of you is mentioning about the windows setup is skipping the "Agreement", "Repair", "Recovery Console" parts. The setup is directly bring you to "HDD list for partitioning or formatting" after successfully loaded SATA driver from a slipstreamed CD.

Is it just me or someone here could share a problem regarding this. hmm.gif

P/S: The windows setup work like a charm with no problem other than what I've stated above. Thumbs up to TS, Thanks!!! thumbup.gif

I seems to face this on some laptops as well, but i have no idea why too.

It seems pretty random, but nothing seems to be affected about the installation so no wories... biggrin.gif

Yeah, but it bother me when it comes to system repair that required Recovery Console. But, it doesn't matter, as for now I just format those laptops while waiting for the fix, if there's any. As I just happen to found nothing about fixing this issue on Google's results either.

Please share if you guys found a fix for this. biggrin.gif

Thanks, Sub for replying, I though I was the only one who encounter this problems. laugh.gif

Try slipstreaming your XP to SP3, it should help update your drivers as well...

I didn't post a direct link to the file because i'm respecting the site owner for not leeching or such. Click that link to the site, go to downloads, then click on applications first and download the base there. The mass storage driver is at the driverspack category.

hey subki||er,

got a question for ya. Would it be wise installing Windows 7 on my Compaq Presario V3632TU running currently on XP now.

The reason is coz hp drivers really suck big time for Xp and after I reformat to XP i just dont seem to get the same smoothness when I game or watch video. I tried like millions of drivers and none gave me the result wanted.

p/s what do you think causes lagginess(definitely not my connection) and blue screens even sometimes while gaming?

Hi bro.... sorry for answer ur question 1st. Is this ur spec?:-

Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 (2.0GHz / 2MB Cache / 800Mhz FSB), 1GB RAM, 250GB SATA HDD ,14.1" widescreen WXGA, Intel Graphic Media Accelerator X3100.

If it is, yes it should & can work with Win 7. Coz mine using win 7 with lower spec. But, i didnt know the performance while u gaming.
