CD problem perhaps? Desktop rarely use SCSI so it doesn't really make sense for it to hang there...Unless of course having said that, you are using a desktop with SCSI drives...

Without service pack and it would be too old so it would crash cause driver problems. Especially newer hardware...

That method have nothing wrong, but its for my 2nd method. The floppy drive load part and if you notice its almost the same.

Which one are you using anyway? blink.gif

Any other CDs tongue.gif tongue.gif

Try using the Winxp(no sp), then try to slipstream SP2 on it, then the SATA drivers. Then see if that CD works...

I think use nLite is much better and easier and you do not need to use a DVD to burn out the window XP....i manage to put XP3 and the driver i wish into the CD and tweak here and there to make the window XP easier to be install. Integrate it with IE7 and WMP 11.

I think nLite rocks

Personally i don't install .NET so nlite won't work for me. And my method doesn't require me to use a DVD blink.gif ?

What burn the iso file alone? blink.gif

You open the ISO and burn as CD Image to CD...not put into the CD...

Try using Win XP SP2 and above. I've found that older SP XP have more problems on newer hardware.
