Are you even reading the article before posting?

It contains all the instruction you need to make your own disc and SATA drivers.

Thanks for these information. If not, I could not reinstall my laptop with XP SP3.

Also, is it possible that some other XP OS Cd contains SATA Driver? Because I did not have this problem before with my XP SP2 September edition.

FYI, SP3 is not even released to the public yet. So there are many versions of CD in stores out there where the original owner of the CD did his own slipstream to the CD. Like myself, i slipstream all windows update into my CD up to the latest one too. Thus, this is why they call it SP3 because the actual SP3 would be all the updates from after SP2 up to the latest one plus a few other enchancement.

Meaning, you would never know what kind of things they slipstream with the CD that you buy from stores. Your other CD might contain the SATA drivers already slipstreamed into it and the new one doesn't. Not all those CD is from the same person anyway...

Besides BIOS, check any side button on the laptop and feature function. I never come across 4710G model.

Shoot, acer website got hacked.

Try to reboot into your windows again.. make sure there is no other program are locking the disk such as check disk or any other disk management tools.. once you done, shutdown your computer properly.
