found in the jobstreet, this Stramark Global offer vacancy for Customer service part time/full time. So I send my resume and they call me up for the interview. I am not sure whether this is a scam or what because the person do not want to tell me exactly where is the office, he just tell me it is located at the menara MPL, ask me arrived there then call, he will guide me then, sound so secret and abit scary for me. I would really like to know anyone had heard of this company before?mayb can give me some idea what is this company doing. thank you thank you.

this morning when to the wisma MPL, then call the fella name jeffrey, from US i think. then he ask me go up to 20th floor. once i reach the floor, and see the hearbal life sign board, i was like shiX, kena con this time. got some girl come out and walk me into the office, fill up some detail and go into the hall, there are about 10 ppl like me waiting inside. then i was like, waht the Fxck...this is not interview, this is direct sales talk. then one of the chinese guy name jacky start giving some talk on how to make big money, million billion and trillion...bla bla bla...then the jeffrey allan from US start giving talk also. then at the end who ever wanna start the work, pay RM450 to get the membership or something. what i want to say is, i am not anti direct sale or what, but just that the way they cheat ppl to there. they posted the job as part time/full time customer service in job street, under a company name starmark global. when i ask before i go, they dunwan to reveal the job scope and the company exact location as well. this mean they intended to cheat me to there...just share here before more ppl waste their time travel there just to listen for the bullshit. not oni me, the rest of the candicate all leave after i am the 1st person stand up and leave the place saying that i am not interested and i feel being cheated. the rest keep cursing and complaining after walk out from the office as well. just beware...

I've heard about this Herbalife supplement too. I found this supplement when I'm looking for 'Work From Home' opportunity. I did tried to sign up. Then they invited me to their online 'business presentation'. It is some sort of online conference with all their business members from all around Malaysia and various part of the world. In there, their members share their success stories.

I'm quite amazed that some of their members are able to earn 10-20k a month and starters can even earn 2-3k a month. Looks like this job is better than having a day job

Anyways, has anyone tried this scheme already ?

well, i got this fella from a weight-managing website..and i have asked her to send over the products catalog to me...but what she send was their online'business presentation" and keep asking me to watch their presentation. i was thinking, are they really selling their products or only wanna drag ppl to join their line and work it like pyramid?????...

What have happened to this brand company servics??

TS..if its not bcos of u,i think i already on my way to their office now to be 'interviewed'..i also found the job in jobstrret under customer service .got sms by himself(allan jefrey) yesterday n invited to an interview this afternoon.wth.. so rush.then this morning i call him to know the details about the interview venue n so on.everything is same as your story.he told me to call him when i arrive at jalan raja chulan.then i asked him whether i should bring my resume as well.what a silly question,but then he telling me that i dont have to bring anything.so my suspicious begin.lucky he told about his company-starmark global.so i can google it and eventually found this thread

sounds like a MLM recruitment company to me...

there are some companies in jobstreet that hires lots of so called, "customer service/accounts exec/management associate" etc....
when you attend the interview, they will say lots of things like, "No...door to door selling", etc

They have good and establish based of company (MNC), then on the first day of job, the so called "senior" will take you out for field work and you end up, as a direct selling sales man.....

on the other hand, if you cant find the company details on Google, then just forget about the company...

I have same experience with you. I received call yesterday and search google for this company. Finally I found this post and today I decided not to go for interview.

I have ask some people in other forum who is work with Herbalife and they say this kind of company maybe not direct from Herbalife and Herbalife will not ask for the high registration fee.
