if the IMEI number matches, will the accessories be fake? even if got sticker ... can the hardwares inside be stolen?

Normally AP sets, the distributor takes the compatible accessories. Whether or not it's original accessories no one can be possibly sure.

From my personal experience, many AP sets come with fake acssesories. It could be some unethical sellers or distributors who swap original acssesories with low quality fake acssesories. My advice for those who going to buy hp (ap or ori), make sure you do extensive survey on how to differentiate ori and fake parts, to reduce the risk of getting fake parts. I believe all AP users expect to sacrifice warranty coverage but not the good quality of phones for low price.

CSL is also another AP company.

In terms of tiers, CSL is a 1st tier AP company as they have service centers around the country so warranty claim should not be a major problem. But however, if they do need to do some major services which they don't offer, they do send the phone back to the respective brands' service centers.

Hi guys, so what are the decent AP companies that can be trusted and bought from these days? Other than CSL, that is, coz it seems that CSL's pricing is not far off from original set's pricing to me.

After having a shitty encounter with some so called cheap phone seller in lelong.com.my when I asked about what AP company his sets are under, which ridiculously replied with a "even if I tell you, you also don't know, my shop had been around for 10 years", I think I better stick with asking at shops than some shitty online retailers.

Some, which I even suspect are the same few persons with different email accounts and lelong accounts giving the same shitty answer.

What even happened to comparing prices for the best deals nowadays doh.gif

Am trying to look for the best deal for Sony Ericsson K800i or K810i, either AP(reliable companies) or original sets(peace of mind). So far CSL set of K800i for RM668 seemed to be the most decent deal. unsure.gif

Never buy at lelong.com. There is this seller: gtoracer (maybe spelling mistake) giving dirt cheap prices which is highly likely that he will be changing all the parts and accessories of the phone.

Just head to the handphones garage sales section. There are a few reputable sellers over there. For example: Mike@Retailer, Renee. Both seller get their hp from various source of suppliers.

BBS(Transciever 18 mths, Lcd 12 mths)
Telstra(Transciever 24 mths, Lcd 12 mths)
Comsat(Transciever 15 mths, Lcd 12 mths)
AMS(Pasific)(Transciever 18 mths, Lcd 12 mths)

Just message and ask them. I'm sure they will be happily answer which AP company to choose that meets your demands.

In fact, I have just confirmed that there is a dude who's posting using different nicknames, different handphone numbers, and different email addresses, but is the same person.

He was THE time waster(for me) and ended up him being "pot calling kettle black" and said I was the time waster doh.gif

um does Comsat have any service centres besides the HQ in Cheras?
i recently dropped my phone, and now my phone is not receiving any line now. the shop which sold me the phone has now changed and become a "samsung" shop, so i'm confused whether they'll accept my nokia phone and i don't want to waste my time going there. (the shop is at Mutiara Damansara's Tesco btw)

edit
okay i just read this thread and now i dont know whether i should send my phone back to Comsat. my phone is 1+ year old (reaching 2 years), and it has a lot of sentimental value so i dont want it to spoil. plus i dont think my parents would be very happy if i were to change phone in less than 2 years.

what do you suggest i do? do you think my phone can be fixed?

2nd edit
do you any dealer in PJ/1U/Curve/anywhere nearby send the phones back to the distributor called CSL for fixing? i heard that their service is quite good.

1 year plus i doubt you can still claim warranty.
The best thing to do is to send to a phone shop to repair. You can ask them 1st whether they are able to repair it or not.

Yes I have heard of him and I nearly and almost bought my phone from them. I did notice that their pricing is on the low side but then again like you said they (at high possibilities) change parts and accessories which comes with the phone package.

Nevertheless, this user has been removed from LYN but however, he/she may have not 1 but multiple accounts linking to their sales. Well if any of us here finds anything fishy with the traders in the garage sales, it's best we notify the mods and/or trade enforcers.
