white makes the ps3 looks much slimmer

My stupid kiam siap friend asks these questions: 1) Why do we need a huge hdd storage for? 2) whts the use of the card reader in the ps3? and 3) why do we need the usb ports? -____- reason he asks: Cause he wants to get the 40gb cause its cheaper instead of the 80gb. But we're planning to buy together so hes coming up with all kinds of excuses to pay a cheaper price -____- |

40GB PS3 got card reader or not? Is it similar to the 80GB version, or is it like the 20GB version? Coz if im not mistaken, the 20GB version doesnt have card slot, etc...

It doesn't have the card reader but at least it still has wifi built-in unlike the 20Gb version.
