Cathay.
sound system is fantastic(both thx and non thx screens)
screen is almost as good.

the things i hate about it,though,is:
seat placement. Internet booking is given priority top middle(best part of the theater) seats doh.gif
the large popcorn seems a little on the small side sweat.gif

my choice would be GSC, and will NEVER go TGV unless drag by friends... or TGV do something with the seat space... very uncomfortable for my legs.... sad.gif

Have you checked out the new TGV in Sunway, way better than many GSCs now.

I always believed that the THX in GSC cinemas is fake. Almost no difference. Trust me.

TGV has gone way downhill since the the introduction of GSC and Cineleisure. They didn't improve anything significant at all I see.

GSC is ok, but the ads is horribly long. I've to wait like 30 minutes before the actual screening which is really bad.

My fav has to be Cineleisure, reasonable ad time, nice seats, nice sound and visual and you can even pick your own booking seats which GSC lack.

Im already bored with tgv and gsc. Time for some new competitors to join in the race for best cinema.

At the moment, Im enjoying MBO cinema in melaka.

I like their concept of prepaid card where I dont have to queue to buy my tickets. Just go to their ATM machine and buy ticket from there without any hassle. Plus, their cinema designs are very retro! Love it!!

MBO is less popular as they have very limited chain of Cineplex. I think currently there is MBO in Amcorp mall in PJ as well as newly done MBO in Mlk. I watch Harry Porter there in Mlk. Yes, must admit i like their ATM alike pay system. Can choose movie, watch a little trailer on the touch screen, choose the seat available and buy. But i heard it cost Rm150 or something. Kinda like prepaid system la. Even got discount. Thumbs up. Hope GSC follow it too.
But what i dun really like in MBO mlk is they make it a little too fancy. Like some music b4 start of the show and some neon lighting ah beng disco shit. whistling.gif

So far the best picture (and possible sound too) clarity I've seen is Cineleisure Damansara. GSC is good too but the ads are about 20 mins long. Been ages since I went to TGV.
