I am thinking to choose the 8600GT Ultra Edition or ATI Radeon HDX2600XT

any recommendation?

Bad News Everyone, Colorful 8600GT Ultra Edition is out of stock.
ETA For 8600GT Ultra Edition is 2 Weeks.

However, there's a good news for those that still insist of getting the 8600GT Ultra Edition.
The 8600GT Ultra Edition has been revved up with an upgrade of Dual Bios.

The earlier model of 8600GT Ultra Edition only has single bios.
While the 8600GT Ultra Edition that is going to arrive in two weeks have been upgraded to Dual Bios.

Also, 8600GT Ultra Edition now comes in two packages.

8600GT Ultra Edition Retail Pack - RM520
8600GT Ultra Edition Bulk Pack - RM510

Bulk Pack means it doesn't come with any boxes or cds, it only comes with basic stuff such as 6Pin PCI-E Power Converter Cable and DVI to VGA converter.

Since 8600GT Ultra Edition is now out of stock, those who ordered 8600GT Ultra Edition now have three choices:
1.) Change your order either to 8600GT Overclocked Edition or 2600XT
or
2.) Wait for the 8600GT Ultra Edition to arrive in 2 weeks
or
3.) Cancel your order.

I'm not going to force anyone, the choice is up to you guys.

is there any official thread for this cards that people already using? want to see some overclocking and performance.

Err, no, but, i've already point out the maximum 8600GT Ultra Edition can perform.
Yet, i haven't shown the true power of 8600GT Overclock Edition running at 650MHz core & 1000MHz mem.

What is dual bios?I think I'll wait.

Dual bios means if the 1st bios fails, the gc will automatically use the 2nd bios.
Make it like this, let's say you oc so much until BSOD and the first bios failed, the gc will turn on the 2nd bios.

Plus, it's much safer if you want to update the bios of the card, if the flashing fails, you still have the 2nd one.

Yes, just like what i've told you guys earlier, the 8600GT Ultra Edition is out of stock.
However, there might be some good news for those that ordered 8600GT OC.

As the one who asked about 50 units of 8600GT haven't told me which unit he wants.
If he ordered 50 units of 8600GT OC, then i can proceed with the order of all 8600GT OC.

If he ordered 50 units of 8600GT Ultra Edition, then i can't do anything but wait for the 8600GT Ultra Edition to be ready on my suppliers place first.

I think I'll wait too. Btw, if the diffence on bulk n retail unit is only cd n box? izzit driver cd? if yes then i'll choose bulk version.

no need to go there, i guess...save cost for me..

Because when you're dealing with shops, normally they will collect a numbers of item before sending RMA, while if you deal with me, i won't wait for quantities, if got problems, i directly send it to the supplier myself and the graphic card should be ready in just one week.
