Hmm... im still a noob here.... i havent got my wii... but i'm curious...
1.Does the Wii NEED to go online? 2.We need to buy the internet channel rite? 3.Buy which cable to connect the Wii to a normal modem(wired)? 4.Is it needed to update the Wii? 5.Can modded WiiS update? |

PHEW!!!!!
After totally messing up and accidentally updating my wii to the new firmware update 3.3u i lost the ability to play many of my copied wii games on my mod-chipped wii. I'm not sure if any of you have had the same problem but if for some reason you do the unthinkable like me! well...there is still a solution though with much painstaking effort. Tips and guides on how to reverse this is scattered all over the web albeit not in complete detail and simplicity, most often in bits and chunks leaving the average user pretty confused. In summary, quite simply you have to use the twilight hack to install the homebrew channel. Thereafter using Waninkoko's hack files accessed via the homebrew channel you can downgrade back to whichever firmware version you choose and waaaaalllllaaaa.........!!! all your copied games work again just as before. You will of course also need to update the firmware of your mod-chip, mine being wiikey to 1.9s so that more recently launched games such as Super Smash Bros works correctly without the "disk read error" popping up. |
