Noooo, Streamyx also has their never ending problem. Frequent DC, slow international website access speed, high latency for certain IP for online gaming (proxy huh), torrent shaping, hate to be bonded 2 years contract summore, also need to pay RM26 per month for fix line rent which i never use, and dont want to use.

my hometown which use streamyx....haiyooo....the headache come like sine wave. Sometime its good...really awesome. 1.5 mbps for RM88 and direct download speed constantly 150 kBps. (but still, for online gaming, need to try and error for good IP). Then, the bad luck wave came....dc so frequent. Online gaming become really BAD experience. Even chatting. The only part which ok was internet browsing (duh).

Even I use xunlei or deluge to combat traffic shaping for torrent, (yup, it work, averagely 80 kBps for streamyx line), but frequent DC (4 - 5 times in 1 hour), really kill the speed. Some more, when quite heavy raining day, for sure, the DSL LED will blinking all the way...with 0 connection. Scenario...bila hujan.....leave computer and tido (sbb astro pun KO)

So, changing to Streamyx is an available option but having that kind of experience with streamyx make think twice. Different ISP different Headache.

ps : I rather prefer 33% stable internet speed rather than 120% speed but Disconnect 5 times per hour.

But, its only me.

Hmmm,so much complain,then u choose other better ISP,but so far,none of the ISP in malaysia is super good 1.

but they told me , they will FREE upgrade 1Mbps to 2Mbps for us (current customers) around june to august.

the iZZi ppl told me

. but it just "future" plan.since now,i have no problem with line or speed.just like my streamyx 1Mbps at terengganu.this night will try online at sungai buloh . hope can use there

Is there any USB to PCMCIA Converter? I wanna use the RM 66 package but my tablet PC don't have that slot.. Can I do that??

Every ISP have their own problem..
Izzinet with slow connection but difficult to DC
Streamyx - Fast connection but always DC
Maxis Broadband - Superp fast connection with 3.2Gbps but shaping P2P very bad.. My friend only can reach maximum 10kBps only.. Kesian dia..

My torrent speed right now.. so my connection speed is around 400kps only.. never reach 650kpbs since 2 month plus i use Izzinet.. huhu

Hey guys, I just wanna know what's the *overall* performance of Izzi?

I just got to know about it. Their agents have been going on about their 4G thing and how it'll be faster this year etc...

Please do advise..I don't think I can take TM NUT anymore....=(

tested at hospital sg buloh now. line is ok.around 70-80% signal . so plan to buy external arial now.

overall performance is ok...nothing noticeable...just u can dwnload torrent...n its mobile except tht big behemuth tht need extra power connection...
hei xeratos,y dunt u buy the outdoor antenna wotrh 200+ maa...can play online real good

my bro pc is using tmnut,d speed is good but cant play exteel..ping time above 1000 while with izzi i got above 300...weird lor....thought tht i can frag all those stupid but fast onliners from other countries.whom has kick me from game..huhuhu

lol!!! it seems when the flaming stops, almost all discussion stops. As for KJ, I believe that there are far toooo many p2p users at that area thus everyone starts to complain. but if i stand at the company's point of view, we can't do much about it as there are fundings that need to be done to at least cover up the whole klang valley. it already behind schedule for 2 months now to cover klang valley. Why? cuz they have to deal with lots of p2p users.

The good thing about izzi would be, if there are too many users in your area, why not bring your lappy out and enjoy a drink while downloading it somewhere else where the speed is better.... instead of using it 24hrs a day at home with sucky connection.

I know... i know... i promised not to speak anymore... but i just want to bump this thread... lol

I cancelled my service in mid January. I was promised three weeks for the refund by the Izzi employee who attended to me. It's now mid February. I am wondering whether I can get my refund before I reach retirement age

They have also outright lied about their promise to refund within 30 days

It looks like this company does not only suck in their service, they also do not keep their promises.

Enough said about them for now.

There is no 3.2Gbps.
And since when is maxis 3G or 3.5G/HSDPA reliable ? I was in menara maxis on the 2nd floor and i couldnt get HSDPA signal.
Plus why did u say maxis broadband is superb fast ? are u referring to the wired or wireless ? i hope its wired u're talking about coz the wireless maxis broadband thread doesnt seem to show its superbly fast.
