Get GELUSIL tablets from any pharmacy. Take 2. Also, for diarrhea get IMODIUM tablets.

Lots of warm water. No spicy, creamy, and oily food. No coffee or tea.

1 cup of plain yoghurt the next morning.

salt sugar and water. basically your large intestine iis not taking up the water. so just take salt sugar and water as a good supplement for a while till everything clears.

porridge?

porridge is terrible for wind. it is rice based... rice based/carbo based stuff causes wind. you should cut down on this as well as white bread.

1. avoid alcohol... especially but not exclusively beer.

2. take yogurt/vitagen... the bacteria will help digestion

3. don't mix protein and carbos together, it will cause indigestion

4. drink ginger tea ... or if you're really desperate chop up a young ginger and just drink it down. you will start expelling the wind but your stomach will hurt and gurgle for a bit.

5. avoid spicy foods and dairy.

you can also try charcoal tablets from the pharmacy, very inexpensive.

cheers

the other day i got a case of stomach wind. keep kua kua ciao.

I took 2 charcoal tablet + instant ginger tea brought from supermarket (must make sure is real ginger, some of them is ginger flavour only sweat.gif ) = no more wind...all in 30 min

LYN member sure like to recommend medicine....seems like a lot of pharmacist over here thumbup.gif

but i prefer to go natural.....I always take yakult if i have to take medicine. Not yogurt and definately not Vitagen. Yakult's bacteria is much stronger flex.gif

ya, you can try sit down for a while. Last time i do have such problem, because i ate a lot after starve for few hours, end up stomach ache. Then i sit down for a while, the pain gone already. Cold drinks should be avoid, get some warm or hot drink. Avoid eating fruits too because some fruits are "wind".

Eat regularly ? Can help though ... But don't eat too full ... Seperate like 1 meal for 2 times to let your stomach rest .
