webui is too too slow today, login = 8 minutes, uploading .torrent = 5 minutes, starting/stopping torrent = 6 minutes...sometimes it is just stuck in there freeze...

Nothing much which I could do from my side. As flux nature itself is very resource consuming. Especially MySQL database processing. Unless you plan to move to a private server with lesser users. Of course this involves more cost.
I would be reinstalling flux this coming Sunday. Hope this refreshes it a little. Added on August 7, 2007, 12:30 pmCould you try the gui load time again? Tell me if it is faster? I applied some changes to 1 of the sql table structure. As according to my programmer friend the design of the table was very poor which causes tremendous loads to sql. The loads on my server rarely goes above 3 during peaks. You won't find any other provider who are willing to invest so much on high end expensive servers for their users. They would get the cheapest AMD server maybe barton and 512 ram for you all only. My 2 cents. |
