This is normal once torrentflux has a few users. We are already fast compared to other provider as we are using Dual Xeon 2.4 GHz and 2 Gb RAM. I got a customer from other provider who switched to me telling me that he has to wait 3 minutes just to login.

Yes torrentflux is very resource consuming. There would be some delay when logging on/ starting torrent/ uploading torrent. This is normal for a publicly shared server. Just tested the login and took about 2 minutes here. I tend to have 20 users the maximum won't go more then that on 1 server. So rest assured, I won't abuse the server for my own gains. After that will be getting new server for new users if there's demand still.

I've changed the page refresh to a higher 60 seconds. Hopefully it will save some resources instead of every 10 seconds keep on refreshing.

I will be coming out with a different package maybe private server where only 10 people will share. But this way the cost will be slightly higher. For those who can't wait maybe can consider this. tongue.gif

60 second refresh is a good compromise and should be suitable for most purposes.

Ya it sure does help decrease the server loads a little after changing to 60 seconds. smile.gif

After using for a month now, i think it is very reliable. It is also managed by a very experienced person. At least i wont need to be afraid that he might run away like some other providers.
