Project GT40
![]() The inspiration for this mod is the almighty Ford GT40. All car lovers will know this legendary car. It's called the GT40 coz it's only 40 inches in height. It's a very, very, very small n compact car with a big engine in it. It was the Le Mans Champion of it's day. Anyway, I based it on the GT40 precisely because of the main feature of this car which is small body, big engine. In my case, it will be small case, big engine(hardware). Project GT40's sponsors- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Wheeeeeeeeeeee! This mod is going to be based on the new Silverstone SG03. ![]() Here's how the case looks like. It's a really, really, really tiny case. The dimensions are only 200mm(w) x 360mm(H) x 312mm(D). It's like a shoe box actually. ![]() This post has been edited by ianho: Dec 21 2007, 04:13 PM |

Let's take a look inside the case now.
A shot of the internals showing the 2x120mm fan intake. ![]() Here's the case all stripped out. ![]() Well, that's it for the standard SG03. My plans r to paint it in the same powder blue color as the Gulf GT40 with orange accents. Maybe, just maybe, a BTX style mod too. I'll hafta remove all the rivets to c how the case can be dismantled b4 I decide on that. 1 thing I've decided on is the side intake. I will base the new side intake on this. ![]() This post has been edited by ianho: Aug 17 2007, 04:11 PM |
