i have just bought a new laptop which is using windows vista & active sync can't be install in vista.

may i know how can i sync my contacts, calendar & notes from my htc touch with my office 2007?

window vista is using window mobile device center, not active sync

How do i transfer files or picture using the bluetooth. I want to transfer picture to my friend HTC

On your Bluetooth > Go to Bluetooth Settings > Add New Devices (Searching for your friends device)

once you see your friend device > select then NEXT > Enter any passcode (just put any number for example "1" without the quote. )

your friends phone shall pop up asking for passcode (just re-enter the passcode "1") to pair.

now, you may simply select any files (photos,mp3..etc) then tabe hold send to bluetooth recipient > select your friends device then SEND

I have lost the battery icon on my main screen, there IS suppose to be one on the same row as your sound, signal and GPRS logo but mine is a clock and i can never seem to get the battery logo out!

Can someone please point to me how? I dont want to install any 3rd party apps to get the battery icon to appear. Help please?

Bought one last week... good thing lots of softwares have been installed. The one I recommended is iContact.... pretty cool... make the contact looks like the iPhone style.. smile.gif Get the version 0.6

for the new Touch (2nd gen with 128ram), i heard that HTC has a new onscreen keyboard for typing using finger. is it true? is it good? or there's no such new features?

how's the performance when viewing image with high res? how about opening pdf? is it fast?

are you talking about the touch keyboard/touch keypad? just like normal onscreen keypad (12key) or keyboard (20key). can be installed on the 1st gen touch also.

this is the one you're talking about?

the 20 key method is definitely more accurate.
is it preloaded in the new HTC touch?

how's the ringtone for Touch? is it loud? i have tested many phones, which IMO, not loud enough when put in my pocket in noisy shopping complex.

Dude, there's always an option for you to put it in vibrate mode. The sound is mono....what do u expect? I use it more for doing work, setting appointment and stuff. The best of course is the amount of control and 3rd party software that you could use with it. Great for those who likes to mod thumbup.gif

You could use iContact v0.6. It will only shows the contact from the phone. The interface looks just like the iPhone contacts. Just Google it. As for copying the simcard contact to the phone, just use the SIM Manager under Contacts. smile.gif
