if you can get 4gb of ram,you might as well get 2gb first and get a Phenom II X3 710 RM330.even 2gb is fine for gaming.i was using 2gb too with windows 7 and vista before and my fps didn't drop because of lack of ram

hd4770 is just as fast as a hd4850 yet the hd4850 runs hotter, noisier, uses more power and has a smaller oc headroom.that said the hd4770 is the best choice
*

read some reviews online, they say hd 4770 can almost perform like 4850....and the phenom x3 if compare to athlon x2 550, both can be overclocked...hehe.
hmm.. i guess my final option will be
phenom II x3 710,
hd 4770,
others will be same like before..budget pun ok lah..

thanks racerx! hopefully my search is fruitful 2molo.any idea if those hardware is compatible with windows 7 basic version?

Hi,

Yah. I just bought it last friday. Is not lagging at all but I was thinking to get another card when the price has come down. SO that it can last longer?? I change computer every 5 years and basically, this is my first time I bought such system.

Normally I only buy from all those branded company. I just wana give it a try...

By the way, I'm only using CM Elite? Do you think the heat dispersion/ Fan is good enough for me? I don't off my computer very often, once every 3 weeks I think? I don't do OC... Will it overheat?

Thanks

For i7 and 5850. You should get at least Coolermaster CM690 RM245.
It wont overheat but it will be quite hot inside. single 5850 should last you for a while.
keep it until you feel slow running games then buy another 5850.

from my calculations this build should be rm1.9-2k,right?if so then it is not the best for your budget.

try this,slower cpu yet 4gb of ram,500gb hdd and a much,much faster hd5770

Phenom II X3 710 RM330
MSI 770-C45 RM260
4GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM RM280
WD 500GB HDD RM170
Sapphire HD5770 RM580
CM Elite 310 RM130
LG DVDRW RM75
CM Extreme Power Plus 460W RM150
RM1975

Hi Sifus,

Should I upgrade my Coolermaster Elite to CM690 or Lankool K62 to have better heat dispersion?

I'm worried that CM Elite heat dispersion is not good enough and eventualy it will shorten the life span of my PC? Any advise.

I still have some budget to change this case and problem is what should I do with this CM Elite?

Also, does anyone experience the computer restart by itself whenever plugging in Pendrive?

Thanks

Hi Everyone,

Can recommend me a new harddisk for my current system as my Maxtor died on me.

Proc : Pentium D (3.15 ghz)
Mobo : msi-945p-neo-platinum-i945p
RAM : 2.5 GB Corsair

500GB Harddisk will do? Budget below 200 / 250?

Methinks the CM690 should offer good cooling for its price. If you can top up a lil' why not consider the HAF 922?

budget? best for value is Biostar 790GX A3+ RM370.
cheaper would be MSI 770-C45 RM265.
