Thats so true... For all the hype about the Socceroos with their mainly European-based stars, they have been one of the biggest letdowns in this edition of the Cup... Who are their next opponents, btw? If they don't win this match, then its goodbye OZ and see u in the next Asian Cup!

Their next opponents are Thailand.

Will be interesting to see how the Socceroos do against them, considering Thailand has home backing and also they are doing well.

The Thai's are a really quick side and will run the Australians into the ground. They aren't a particularly big side though and you can expect Viduka to be a handful especially in the air. Their best bet would be to play the ball up to Viduka and for the likes of Kewell and Cahill (whom I believe will start this game) to feed off him. The Australians need a win and will push forward. The Thai's should use their pace and run at their defence at every given opportunity.

hahaha. I think he should have kept a check on the players from time to time in order to make sure that they were training properly and not loitering in the mamak stalls(somebody said it yesterday and I find it quite amusing biggrin.gif )

good.... dont he realise he should have done that like a long time ago ?
/b/

yeah, indeed iran has a bye in the next game.... a free win literally... its a matter of how many goals they are gonna blast thru the malaysian defense

china 2 1 1 0 7 3 4
uzbek 2 1 1 0 6 1 4
iran 2 0 2 0 3 3 2
malaysia 2 0 0 2 1 10 0

iran will definitely blast like 6-7 goals past malaysia to ensure they get thru and not knocked out on GD

bye bye malaysia...

the first nation in asia cup history to ship 2 digit goal in the first 2 games...

i am so embrassed....
