Nope. Dude most of us rarely get to see full 90minutes. Only saw for 10 minutes and already can't stand the pain. Did you take morphine or something to watch full? Really Abu Gharib tortury.

Think about this, everyone pay Rm20 to watch 2-3 goal average per game during this Asian Cup. But Malaysian Fan in for a treat. We get Average 5-6goal per match. Value for money. McMalaysia Value meal. Saya CINTA FAM. Next match go Bukit Jalil sit with opposition better.

Asian Cup: Uzkekistan eliminates Malaysia in 5-0 win

KUAL LUMPUR (AP) - Uzbekistan inflicted another embarrassing defeat on Malaysia in Asian Cup Group C on Saturday, with the 5-0 victory eliminating the co-hosts from the competition after just two games.

Both sides needed a result after having lost their opening fixtures and it was Uzbekistan, boosted by the return of leading striker Maxim Shatskikh, that cruised to a 3-0 lead by halftime to put the result beyond doubt at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.

The match waned in the second half, but the former Soviet state came alive in the dying minutes to rattle on another two goals that could easily have been three or four.

Combined with the 5-1 thumping by China in its opening match, the result eliminated Malaysia from the competition. Unlike the spirited showings by other co-hosts Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia, Malaysia looked comprehensively outclassed in both its fixtures thus far.

Uzbekistan lost its opening match 2-1 to Iran, but this result kept it alive in the competition, with everything to hinge on its final group game against China on Wednesday.

Uzbekistan took the lead in the 10th minute when a freekick was floated in from the right, somehow avoided the crowd of players in the area, and found Shatskikh unmarked on the back post, where he headed in. The advantage was doubled on the half hour when the lively Timur Kapadze weaved past two poor tackling attempts and slotted the ball home.

The game was put beyond doubt just before the break as Ulugbek Bakaev converted the penalty he had won when Malaysian goalkeeper Azizon Kadir ill-advisedly clattered in to the Ukrainian who was moving away from the mouth of goal.

With head-to-head records rather than goal difference to separate sides equal on points in group standings, there was little incentive for Uzbekistan to push forward in the second half, and it was only in the closing minutes that they extended the lead.

On 85 minutes, a Pavel Solomin cross found substitute Aziz Ibragrimov in vast space at the back post where he calmly slotted home.

Uzbekistan also hit the bar late on, but made it 5-0 with a well-worked quick-passing move on the edge of the box that resulted in Shatskikh knocking home his second in the 89th minute.-AP

Norizan laments lack of quality

KUALA LUMPUR - Under-fire Malaysia coach Norizan Bakar admitted on Saturday that his side does not have the quality to compete with their Group C opponents at the AFC Asian Cup.

Having dropped their opener 5-1 to China, the co-hosts shipped another five goals in a 5-0 trouncing by Uzbekistan at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, which all but eliminated them from the competition.

Norizan had been trying to restore some confidence in his team after their heavy defeat to the Chinese, but he found himself in a defensive mode once again when he faced the media after yet another debacle.

His main point in a rambling press conference was that his side were not equipped to compete at a higher level.

"We qualified for the tournament as hosts and we understand that we are playing at a different level," said the Malaysia coach.

"But I have to say that the players, even though they know where they are, are still keen to represent their country and they are trying.

"These players are still trying to do something but when you talk about the aspects of the game, you have to talk about the level."

The central Asian side took advantage of sloppy defending by the co-hosts to race into a 3-0 lead by half-time through goals by Shatskikh and Timur Kapadze and a stoppage time penalty by Ulugbek Bakaev.

Substitute Aziz Ibragimov and Shatskikh, with his second of the match, added late goals to pile the misery on the Malaysians.

"We lost to a better team. We tried to make corrections from our first match, but it failed," said Norizan.

"It was a difficult game for us against a team that is physically stronger than us.

"We tried to match them and improve from our first game. But whatever changes we made, it did not work and I am not happy with the result.
"I reminded the players early in the match that they need to watch the crosses and the long balls, but somehow they lapsed in concentration.

"The players were trying to play with more urgency but at the end of the day, the Uzbeks had the advantage in terms of passing and all aspects of the game. When we tried to make good passes, they were intercepted and that only caused our defence to make more mistakes.

"We are not thinking about the losses but after two defeats, the psychology of the team would be affected," he concluded.
