AD500 is the one that will leak sound as its an open back headphone...A500 is the one thats closed back wont leak as much sound. the price at ur local store for the A500 is damn good imho. suggest u audition it and if u like the sound buy it. also which local store is this? |

So will AD500 leak a lot of sound that can be disturbing? I owned a Sennheiser HD495, its open dynamic but I found the sound leakage is at acceptable level. Is AD500 sounds a lot better than A500? If not then I better go for A500 so that I will not disturb my roomate I currently at Singapore, there are quite a few Audio Technica stores here. When having promotion the price for AD500 is SGD157, so its about RM370, with a free pouch. Good buy you said? |
