Who owns/drives a Hyundai Getz?
Did you modify your car? If so, do you have pictures of your modified Hyundai Getz? Because I drive a Hyundai Getz and I plan to modify it, so anyone here have any idea on how to modify it?

i would like to correct your english. it should be: "Any 1 Is Drive Hyndai Gets ?" who drives a modified hyundai getz? or anybody drives a modified hyundai getz? "Got Modify The Car ?" do you modify your car? Got Pic See Your Modify Hyndai Gets ? do you have pictures of your modified hyundai getz? I used to own 1.6cc CBU Auto Getz way back in 2005. Mods done were:-
1. K&N drop in air filter(better FC) 2. Extractor kit with full pipeing and Sflow exhaust (some slight increase in power) 3. 16"rims with Falken tyres (looks nice) 4. ICE(better sound lorrr) All else was standard, no BKits...car lasted 1 year, sold and bought something else  join www.getzclub.com.my they are helpfull....  |

There is not alarm at all.. just got theft prevention system ( i donno what it called)... so have to install a seperate alarm lor... |

like it could be tracked if it get stolen or what? thats good...a call will get to you if the car is alegedly being stolen......and in a few days ur car will be recovered....i once saw the brochure in KLMS in KL last year....its my 1st trip to KL!!
so lucky that the autoshow is just at the right time.....hehe u know for a boring town to a place like that.....me only student lar ....more appropriate to be call a kid. |

really funny thing happend to my car on the way to sg.buloh yesterday afternoon... my car's car plate fell off ... gOsh.. didnt notice until i reach sg.buloh.. so i decided to drive back the same way to PJ... haha.. and found my shining car plate on the road.. although got a bit scratch.. and a bit crack... but is still in good condition.. now added extra more double sided tape to stick tht damn plate.. |

haha...luvky dat the plate number did not break into pieces....
ur using perspec plastic right? my dad uses a metal one not sure wheter its a steel of aluminium...but its easy to bend though...hehehe i accidentaly bend the tip of the plate slightly..but he didnt notice it...and i bring the shape back to normal..foooh! close encounter! |

everytime i start my engine, there is some "pak pak" sound... is like the electric sound, tht both side touch each other and form spark.. although cant see any sparks. any idea? *new update some sparks occur during the inigtion.. and now send for service izzit bad? Just wanna share my experience.. i just installed some fuel saving thingy to my 1.3l getz which includes, 2x microcompressors + voltage stabilizer + magnet thingy.. even tho i'm not a believer when it comes to that magnet thingy.. (since i saw an episode of mythbusters saying that the magnet is nothing but crap), to my suprise, this combination gave me quite good FC. the latest i got is:
RM68.20 for 406.5KM That's RM1 for every 5.96KM or RM10=59.6KM Petrol im using is shell super Driving condition is normal, i'm a heavy footer btw.. 60% highway, 40% roadway. Pretty good eh? i part with RM350 only to get those items incl installation. hope i'll get return profits in no time.. hehe.. |

If you're in JB, there's always Moffiz. Not too sure about KL though. And yup, Getzclub dot com is down for an obvious reason, they cant afford to pay the server or hosting company.. hmm...just to share some info with your guys on my getz. got it as a brand new CBU in November 2003.one of the very first in Kuching if not the first. I send if for servicing on an interval of about 5000-6000 km since day 1 till now.
fuel consumption long distance from Miri City to Kuching, which is about 900km for about RM 110. i did around 900km for RM113 before Christmas 2007. it might be more than 900km as i went for a spin in Miri before going back to kuching. Before Chinese NEw year 2008, i clocked more roughly 660km for RM77.00 from Bintulu to Kuching and its roughly the same going back. mine is a 1.6 Auto. so i believe the fuel consumption is satisfactory.no modification or any add-on gadget on my car. |

This one is very nicely modified where I found it online. It's a 3 doors Getz with full set
I own a black Getz 04 and modified it too, but not that perfect, anyway, I love getz a lot, it's a very nice car in terms of shape, bodylines and lights compared to the local Perodua Myvi's. Hope the pict attached helps and gives you more ideas for modification. |
