Does anyone know where to buy new/second hand R1 around KL or Penang?

i saw one unit of this displayed at the camera shop at IOI MALL, Puchong few months ago...but u can go there and have a look...n i bet they still have this, coz not likely ppl will buy this.. btw...i asked the price for this camera last time....they are still selling at RM3.5K .... i think with this price....better u get a DSLR...... Good luck!

well for now, config that can really challenge this one is

DSC-R1 (10mpx-CMOS) + Carl Zeiss T* (24x120mm eq), which cost you 3.5k. Note that is T* lens dude! and better wide angle perfomance some more. But this camera dont have IS...
A300 (10mpx-CCD) + Carl Zeiss 16-80mm (24x120mm eq) lens which cost you RM 4k ++, and this is newer version camera, put aside the DSLR factor.

if you dont want to "kena racun" with many accesories and happy enough with middle zoom range.

DSC-R1 is for you.
