nope, it means the GC itself has a 512mb of memory size intergrated in it....it just a memory for the graphic card itself to use without the need to access the ram of ur computer first......

it doesnt matter how much memory ur pc have....

460W gigabyte superb with no OC it should be fine but rugila x OC,E84 has nice cache..like TKH said, buy 4850 coz 4850 > 8800GT/9800GTX...then 9800GTX wana produce 9800GTX+ now haha and 4850 is cheaper!RM6xx only!

hi guys, I have a HP 520 Notebook PC with the storage capacity of 80G. Tiring of the hussle to tidy, delete or burn out my notes, assingment i'm planning to get myself a external Western Digital hard disk drive .I'm not very good at those IT gadgets. After reading the posted thread, there are something that i'm still not very clear about and i hope to u guys out there can help me.

Firstly, i'm understand that SATA II is better than SATA and PATA, but what about IDE? And may i know which one is compatible with my notebook?

Secondly,i did went to check the price for WD in lowyat forum, but i'm not sure whether a portable HDD is the same as an external HDD, or a notebook HDD?

Thirdly, i saw someone recommending WD Passport in other thread. May i know what is the advantage of using a WD Passport comparing with other WD HDD?

Forthly, does the size 2.5" or 3.5" affect the performance of the HDD? or it is just the matter of size?

Lastly, i noticed in the price list that some of the HDD are featuring USB 2.0. Is it only those HDD featuring this USB can be used like a thumb drive? just plug in can use, without installing?

thx!!!
