using thunderbird 2 beta on vista enterprise....so far no problem at all...

im using bitcomet,azureus n utorrent.....without any problem....

any best anti spyware program ??? like Ad-awara .....

can i ask whether we need to apply the TCP connection patch (from 10 to 50) that we had to do for XP in Vista? is there a separate patch for it?

Hi guys,

How bout the DVD/CD Burning software? I havent personally tried yet, but from what I heard earlier, there were issues concerning Nero's burning software and Vista.

I'm using the Nero Burning Program which came with my SONY DRU-810A. It's an OEM version which wont run on any other optical drive but the one it came with.

I didnt notice any patches or upgrades in the "SUPPORT" section in www.nero.com.

Any idea how to fix this for free?

The latest nero 7 works with Vista, the "issues" comes from ppl that uses Nero 6, found that it won't work, and say Nero won't work with Vista

that`s why i bought myself a Linksys one...i afraid this thing will happen to me...

WMP 11 in vista can't seem to detect my music files in the "monitored folders" .... to add to library i will need to manually play them
before this there was no problem until i reinstalled vista..

is there any way to reinstall WMP11 in vista?

only the latest version of Nero will run with vista
i use Nero 7 Ultra Enhanced
it works okay.

btw, bsplayer PRO doesn't work with vista
pity because it's favourite video player, automatcally plays the subs too
and also Tune-up Utilities 2006 and 200 won't work

other than that, my vista is working fine

Essentially, VISTA and XP are two separate OSes, correct?
So, if I were to install these OSes in separate HDDs, theoretically, they shouldnt share the system resources right?

By sharing I mean, when VISTA's active, XP doesnt contribute to RAM usage and vice-versa.

I've configured myself a dual-boot system, because some of my programs wont work in VISTA.

Here's the problem: Recently I ran C&C3 in XP; after installing VISTA and it lagged! Prior to the VISTA installation, C&C3 ran smoothly. Not only C&C3, some of my other games also experienced noticeable slowdowns.

The only way for me to run C&C3 smoothly in XP is to unplug the HDD with VISTA installed, after unplugging, the game ran smoothly again.

Y is this happening???? Theoretically, these OSes shouldn't be sharing the memory. Or am I wrong?

Any advice or solutions for this lil problem of mine?

P.S: Sorry if it's too long. I didnt feel like mincing my words lest some1 might misinterpret my question.

Yesterday i receive this error. It turns my trasparent glass into basic mood. Cause by incompaitble with WMP Classic. After shutting down WMP Classic, it goes back to normal. Anyone experience this b4?

I encountered the same problem before, same when i opened media player classic, but that time i was using version 1.60, it is incompatible with Aero, so when i switch to version 1.70, this problem solve n never happen again.


Btw, i faced another problem now...


The details bout my Window Experience Index all gone! Anyone know why??

Just wanna ask if anybody has the same problem as mine. After a while i will be unable to surf the net, but my downloads in bitcomet are still running, the only way i can surf again is to restart my pc, even resetting the modem also won't help. I had tried changing network cards and even modem, but the problem is still there, btw i am using Dlink DSL500T router+modem, i hope someone would help me on this, really annoying need to restart pc everytime i cannot online.

Finally my problem solved too.
But quite take time when searching for the solution u mentioned about...
