This PC fair was worst than the last one. A lot of ppl love to stop in the middle of the lanes, never bother to move aside, and not moving at all.

ok, let say 5 days work lah since IT people mostly 5 days work

Etc. take home pay: RM 2500 per month
RM 2500 \ 20 days = RM 125 per day
RM 83 \ 8 hours = RM 15.60 per hour.

Spent 3 hours in PC Fair = RM 47.00
Food = RM 20 average
Transport = RM 20 average

Total = RM 87 spent to visit PC Fair.

doh.gif RM 87 to see leng lui , might as well go to TGI Friday with a Date.

Is it really a saving ah?

rubbish! the more you go out , the temptation is there. haha!! welcome to reality ! if you are pissed , ask yourself why you are pissed? An arrow just hit your heart. This is terrorizing right. Go more shopping loh..in fact i want you to spent more time shopping and buy more using your credit card. PC FAIR? Sure or not.. everyday, i still see papers advertising the PC FAir Price for printers and notebook even after the event. Not as if they are reducing the price for 30 percent to 7o percent from the Actual price.

My dealer in Puchong said he can give me the same price and gifts also lah..ahahahahaha

There's a chinese idiom saying 'one kind of rice feed hundred kind of people'.

Everybody have different ways to make themselves happy.

Some like to work hard, earn more money.

Some would be just happy cos he/she saved money from getting something below market.

So as long as you're happy with what you do , I think it's perfectly alright.

u guys complain what for... be a clever consumer... if it's more expensive, don't buy it, if it's cheaper then buy it.. a fair is not just for buying stuff, it's for previewing new stuff, and buy somewhere else where it's selling cheaper! if u wanna go shopping go to a mall, they're not forcing u to buy stuff at pc fair.. just look and then go home... everytime there's a pc fair, u guys complain about the same thing... so boring la

haha, agree with you... You can choose not to buy or to buy... The decision is in your hand, every individual will have their own decision in buying, shopping, discovering, checking out, or etc. etc.

Just let them be, they have there own choice and you have yours as well... so stop... haha

Now the point of discussion is no longer whether the price is cheap, expensive or whatever.

It's that a member with his personal view & calculation, saying that visiting PC Fair is a waste of time/money.

Which I believe most people here wouldn't agree with.

Use daddy mommy's money dun talk so loud lah... rolleyes.gif
you think your daddy doesn't count his money when he spend even on his food or when he choose a new TV to bring back home ar? It's all be cause he has a ATM-withdrawing kid like you who thinks fun is more of a concern than money. Wanna talk big and lecture people about using their money, try depending on your own salary and survive lah.

yup! i mean these exhibitors spent thousand of money to renovate the booth, rental, hiring models to show of its product ( not all are new ok ) unlike E3 games expo and you think this Fair can get Discount from actual price?

Moreover, they only threw in small gifts like pouch , tee shirt, catridges which is also at their cost etc.

As a consumer, we need to be a macro thinker rather than micro. Can you imagine the kind of answer i get from a poo kid.. can see leng lui mah..come on Malaysian, this is the reason for going to Exhibition. New Products??? Go Singapore and u know what new Products mean to them.

We have a choice not to go so that next time when we go , more discounts and new products will attract more enthusiast. At this moment, i see most of the crowds are shoppers that go there for Family outing and some even spent 3 Days there to compare the PRICE. Yes you heard me, Comparing the Prices...Stupid isnt it..You call this PC FAIR.

I work there before and i have attended the same client for 3 days and they made the final decision in the end of the day . When they came back and buy from me, I grin at him and said to him.. so you finally decided comparing? Yes..he said and he asked for more discount from me and i said no. The Buyer said to me.. I can get it cheaper in Low Yat of course minus the unnecessary stuff my company give like mouse, pouch, calendar etc..LOL.
