@gozila84 --- right click the hdd, select Get Info...drag the icon which you want on top of the existing icon.. it's that simple

visit http://interfacelift.com --- lots of cool wallpapers and icons for Mac..

Mac use .icns as icon. But if I'm not mistaken, .png also can...

Hey Playboy21 doesnt having that many icons on your desktop laggout ur comp?
hrm hard to explain..
but word keeps going on that if you have more than 5 icons on your desktop your computer will start using more energy just because its there... *err not energy... more like processing power or something..

I've not experienced anything like that up to date.It works flawlessly.To add to that,my files in my folders are all small in size.Just tiny .c or .txt files.Nothing more than that.(Some are big eg: pspgames etc)
