My jaring has been shit for the past few days.

At random times of the day, the connection would just slow down ALOT.
Latency reaching 300ms to a local server, and a peak speed of 500kbps.

Note: Im using Jaring Wired Broadband, and NOT wireless.

by the way, back to topic, i tak pernah guna streamyx so i cannot comment on the 'VS' thingy, however for jaring service is excellent... i wouldnt even think of replacing my jaring 1mbps with streamyx 4mbps. just want to be on the stable side..... huhuhu.

I do experience a similar situation before...
I takes me about a month to get the problem solve and technician from both Jaring and TMNet came to my house to do a join test.

What I can say is lodge a report to them which consist of your OS,Browser, customer ID,tracert, ping, speed test, modem status and modem log.

Well, this is happening to me atleast once a month. Which only lasts a few days. However, this time it has been over a week without any improvements and even starts to happen more frequent (I only get a normal fast connection for only 2-4 hours per day).

This is very annoying for a gamer like me, getting 300ms in team fortress 2 / left 4 dead is horrible.

This might due to they have disable tracert on cmd...
To proof that you have problem, a clear data like speedtest, ping etc must submit to them.

i am just wondering why the disable tracert in CMD ?

due to abuse ? or they do not want to let anyone know what is their routing ?

However, We still can use 3rd party software to do tracert.

Till today, I am still having these problems.

Also, I would like to enquire why does my speed tests jump.

It will be like dead for a minute, then it suddenly jumps to my speed. Which then completes the test in a second.

If im not mistaken when you register for Jaring, they will give you modem and allow you to test for a week, can give back if did not satisfy.
