(Xlcore & Reuben, this is only my personal feedback. Please don't take it seriously.)

So far I've tried both Xlcore & Reuben. I think it's due to the file I'm downloading (you know, that not too many seeder kind of reason)... I'm only hit 20kBps most of the time. And please bear in mind on thing that annoy me the most. Your connection to the server might be cut off halfway and you have to reconnect MANUALLY to get that connection back. There're also alot issue with the server which might result temporary service interruption. You have to help yourself follow up with the service provider closely to check with the server status.
I've also tried that SecureIX (free) version. Can't get connected at all.

Come to the end, if compare with 5k, better still have 20k right? wink.gif

Foot note: VPN will result an international speed for local peer. It's better to get rid of VPN for file with lot local seeders.

I have tried HostCK, XLcore and DS' services. I have not tried BolehVPN.

HostCK:
1. Speed was excellent. Got more than 100kB/sec.
2. Unfortunately duock went MIA into the 3rd week of my subscription.
3. Decided not to subscribe when he returned.

XLcore:
1. Speed was okay. Got around 80-100kB/sec.
2. After a week or so, there were issues with bandwidth, so my connection was capped. Could only get ~70kB/sec max.
3. Decided not to renew due to speed cap.

DS:
1. Speed is excellent. Getting >100kB/sec.
2. There were initial issues, but they were resolved during the free testing period.
3. Currently using it for the second month.
4. Only problem is, I don't have enough space. smile.gif

In conclusion, DS VPN works great for me. If only I could fork out for a year's service, I would. Pricing wise, they're pretty much the same.

I'm using DS VPN right now. I never tried the others though. Subscribed to it for RM30 for a month time. 4th day now. I'm happy with it. Multiple torrent can go over 100KBps. Of course this is because it can connect to international peers. Without it, it really depends on the local peers, with speed mostly around 20KBps TOTAL or usually... less. dry.gif Now finally i can catch up to the massive anime fansub releases this month. smile.gif Worth the 30 bucks per month IMO. thumbup.gif Here's a screenshot as a proof.

I've tried both Duock's and DS' VPN.

On Duock's VPN ver. 1, I got really awesome and consistent speeds, almost close to what I had prior to him going AWOL, i.e. ~170kbps. Now on ver. 2, it's a bit more erratic, with highs of about 150kbps and lows of about 100 kbps.

Now, when Duock went AWOL, I jumped over to DS's VPN. DS had a few servers, and I was on his local server. Speeds were erratic at first but it smoothed out after a while. Managed to get a consistent 120~150 kbps average.

Support-wise, both gave me great support, and were quick to respond to problems, though Duock went through an AWOL stage. DS has his own page and forum (my suggestion!) for support issues.

Mind you, these numbers were taken from massive swarms, e.g. Dattebayo's Naruto releases.

For me, BolehVPN is quite stable. It is not stable for you because of the server you are on is not stable and they already fixed the problem. I am on a different server which is very stable so far and the speed is great. I can get as high as 150K+ on torrents that are heavily seeded. At least the guys at BolehVPN didn't go bankrupt and run away like duock! Give them a chance, you won't regret it.

As a VPN provider myself, I'm probably biased but I'd recommend either

IdealVPN - Mine
or
BolehVPN - Reubens

The reason for this is actually pretty simple, we both have the technical knowledge to run a VPN service and won't leave users hanging while we 'desperately' try to figure things out. Also we tend to resolve matters pretty fast too, so pick which one that you like, more towards a matter of personal preference than anything else...

if you want pptp vpn, i suggest you subscribe to SecureIX or Relakks because both BolehVPN and IdealVPN uses the OpenVPN format.

i hv been using bolehvpn for 1 month. reuben response to my problem was pretty fast. he helped me for hours jst to troubleshoot wat when wrong with the settings. he did solved my prblm. besides periodic server maintainance which i already expect to happen to any new services, i hv very minimal interruption on my service. i can easily maxed to 120kbps although it wont stay long on 34mbit/s pipe. it will usually stable around 90-100kbps.

This is totally untrue. Of all the VPN's, BolehVPN is most stable. I have tried all VPNs and nothing like the speed and stability of BolehVPN. Constant speeds of even 150kbps.

Somemore, Reuben gives fantastic online support. Very competent and patient.
