I would like to thank Reuben and his associates for doing a great job on this VPN service. First I had problems with the VPN software that's running on WinVista but Reuben then fixed it for me.

Well done guys.

BolehVPN is in the process of getting new server that will provide more slots and redudancy support. However, suprisingly, all bandwidth and servers prices have gone up and due to our commitment to provide cheapest possible price to our customers, the selection process is taking longer time then expected.

We hope to start opening the new slots by Tuesday.

Looks like we can increase the slots earlier.
I will be releasing bandwidth stress test images soon to show that our vpn have the capability to support your usage.

This is the image of the last snapshot of network speed test conducted from one of the datacenter in Malaysia. From the image, it is safely to say that the network is capable of supporting more than 10 of 1Mbit slots.

Reuben,

Can this service used for mmorpg?
I love to play WoW and I always reach latency of 2-3k which takes the fun out it...
By using this service, will I be able to play WoW at 100-200 latency?
If yes, I'll take 1 month package as trial. smile.gif

100-200 latency is not possible unless wow server is within streamyx network. However with VPN you can get much stable connection due the VPN server ability to maintain connection with the wow servers. We feel that its better for you to test the trial package and our support will try to assist you in achieving best result for wow usage.

Our servers located in USA, Europe and Asia. Yes the hosting company does not provide restrictions to BT traffic.

Reuben, I noticed rainbow6's download speed is 1.2mbps for downloading in his screenshot. How may I achieve that speed? Even when I' downloading uBuntu, the highest it goes to is only about 40kbps. Also, since I applied for a 1Mbit VPN connection, what is the max download & upload speed that I expect to get?

My download speed is only achievable from my datacenter which has a 15mbit download. It is impossible for streamyx subscribers to get that speed. The speed was posted to show that other VPN users should have a maximum speed too since the bandwidth allocated is still healthy and not saturated.

To achieve maximum speed you must have a healthy torrents and a clean streamyx connections. If you run tmnet speed test and you can get 900Kbps and above, then you should be able to get a pretty high speed when you are downloading using torrent.

We understood that TM is having some issues with their routing but looking at today performance, I think they probably have sorted out those issues.

Irrepective of your package, your maximum speed will be 20% below of your maximum speed you subscribe to TM Streamyx.

You're in Labuan?

I note that the 124.82 ranges that east malaysians get have rather poor routing. I usually reconnect till i get a 60.52 or 60.53

Current Usage Status, Network status is still healthy with more than 20 users connected now and 1500 connections. If look closely, test centre located in Malaysia can still download at more than 500KB/s.
