Ok, got nothing to do, so i do this Online PS2 flowchart.
1. What type is your ps2? a. Slim, go to step 2. b. Fat, go to step 6 Slim PS2 2. What is your ps2 region? a. ntsc/uc, go to step 3 b. ntsc/j or pal, go to step 11 3. Congratz! you can play both direct online and xlink kai. a. For xlink kai, go to step 11 b. For direct online, go to step 4 4. Certain games need DNAS patching to play online. This can be patch using Lakum/snipersnake's guide. Now go to step z. Fat PS2 5. What region? a. NTSC/UC - go to step 7 b. NTSC/J - or Pal to to step 8 6. What game do u want to play? a. Direct online - go step 7 b. Xlink - go step 11 7. You will be online in no time! Just follow dnas patching guide by Lakum/snipersnake. Congratz, now you can go to step z. 8. Please check your console version here and tell us ur version(applied to fat ps2 only) a. version 1-8, go step 9 b. version >9 go to step 10 9. Ok, your version can be patch its ID to ntsc/uc region, After patching, patch your cd with dnas and done! 10. Too bad your ps2 ID cant be change. Means you can only play direct online thru ur console region. means, if urs is ntsc/j, you can only play in japan server. But, still can play xlink. for xlink please go to step 11. Xlink 11. Do you have router? a. Yes - Go xlink website to register and download the program b. No - Sorry, you need router or 2 NIC card to play. Now go to step z. Conclusion z.
