basically, the amount of returns from such investments r practically too good to be true. There'll be ppl making money from it, yes, but those r those who went in early, and are used as bait by the scammers to draw even more money in.

When the scammers had gotten enough ppl into the program (aka enough money), then they pack up and run.

Notice that there's no contact info on them at all on their website? And even their domain name's registered for them by an anonymous domain name service. very suspicious indeed huh? especially when one of the most important things when finance is concerned is credibility. And not having their contact info seriously lacks that.

none of the HYIP i came across are actually registered co in US .. usually in Panama or some other ulu ulu country.

Hmm.. i kind of remembered that my cousin told me an online shopping where you buy an item with credit card produced by the online shopping. Then you will get an amount of money and the amount of money will accumulate every month.Transaction of money only can be done on Maybank Acc. Is this em-pay?

em-pay is not a foreign thing. its local. I would think its one of those get-rich-scams gone online.

even their server is hosted locally at the tmnet datacenter in brickfields.

I think that em-pay used ipcshopping's name to conduct their quick-rich scheme. There's not a single link to em-pay.com in ipcshopping.com. From the announcement above and this, it is advisable that people stay away from involving in this kind of investment.
