QUOTE(spanker @ May 15 2008, 04:36 PM) Dude there's some grammatical errors in the tags. "Want to Let" means to let for rent, "Want to Rent" means you want to pay rent to use the property. "Want for Let" would mean you want the house so you get rent it out, "Want for Rent" means you intend to let for rent money. It's like borrow/lend usage. Errr so then If I have a room and I want to let it out? Is what? err... |

Just a suggestion, I think to these are the Tags that should be used.
WTL - Want To Let (Renting out a property). WTR - Want To Rent (Looking for a property to rent). If I have not mistaken, there isn't such thing called WFR(Want For Rent/Let), that's like you are looking for something for renting purposes. Hope this helps because I personally think that the Tags are misleading and confusing lol. |

The tag is so lead to confusion,
WTR = want to rent, from the word it should mean that the tread opener WANT TO RENT a room/unit, not open for people who WTR his/her unit. anyway, referring to other properties rental/selling forum, they specific the tag into: # WTB (want to buy) # WTS (want to sell) # WTR (want to rent) # FS (For Sell) # FR (For Rent) which is user friendly and easy to understand :] |

QUOTE(j3nny9irl @ Aug 11 2009, 01:34 PM) correct usage should be: To Let usage: I have a room/house To Let To Rent usage: I am looking for a room/house To Rent In your case, you have a room To Let. [TL] - To Let (Renting out a property) [TR]- To Rent (Looking to rent a property). This post has been edited by lxwong: Nov 21 2009, 09:19 PM |
