Most *ENJOYABLE* games:

FPS- Unreal Tourney series. Classic and 2004 esp, but 03 was still a great blast. Mods galore! I'm anticipating STALKER to blow me away.
RTS- Kill me for saying Rise of Nations (original). It really make me feel warm inside, like no other RTS does.
Turn based strategy- Civilization III. Warm feeling, again. Without the slowdowns of IV. Mods are aplenty too.
Racing- Let's keep the warm feeling there. Burnout: Revenge...
*OH SNAP*
Err... Flatout 2 will do, although the AI is the worst case of rubber-band ever. NFS is getting more and more wannabe... no.
RPG- Warm feelings keep comin' on. It's a tie, and both are hybrid genres. SW: KOTOR (I/II) and Fable: The Lost Chapters.
Adventure- No compromise here, Myst IV: Revelation for being the most beautiful game ever made, and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey for the story. And also what's left of the "game" inside.
Platformers:
Tomb Raider: Legend and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. Both are ports, but they do the job well (PoP T2T, I'm looking at you.)
Simulations:
"Constructive" sim- Simcity 4 and Black and White 2. Both can make you go on hours and hours.
Space simulator- Elite. OK, nobody's playing that now. X3: Reunion. Freelancer also gets a notable mention.
Flight Sim: FS 2004- A century of flight. Before the series tipped over into graphicwhore territory.
Driving sim- Sorry, my PC is a feeb.
MMORPG- No, I don't hate my real-world life.

Weirder stuff that gets all the <3:
1. Darwinia by Introversion- Technically not a RTS, as you don't squeeze your brain out but rather soak into the whole experience.
2. Grid Wars (Indie dev)/ Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved (Bizzare)- After a few rounds on the 360, no turning back. PC port coming soon.
3. GTA III- 'Nuff said.

Yeah, that's true. Well you forgot to put amputable limbs (don't know what word to use).

The environment changes with every mission, kinda make it quite memorable. Don't forget that the first version is free to play for multiplayer hahahaha (i.e. can play *ahem* method as well).


Anyway, want an rpg? Go play Chrono Trigger for SNES. Be warned though, if you play this too long, the graphics might really piss you off(like how I did, so close to the end, stopped playing hehe).



Live for speed is really good. I can drift for real in that game (real sliding action). Tire wearing also etc etc etc. Just wish more people would play though. Occasionally those drift servers fill up and people do hot drift line drifting actions rofl. I stopped playing by the way, after I tried playing it on my brother's PC (so fast, with 70 fps on max graphics), I found out my 20 fps to 15 fps is really slow .

I suggest you play demo only though, used a crack and didn't find the new cars that exciting.



I say Black and White 2 kinda fail. Just keep building and building, and build some more and you win. No need to go for war. Of course, you can opt for another way, teach your creature to fight and shoot fireballs/lightning/volcano at the enemy if you want to. Unlike the first Black and White, you need to war if you want to win (building and building and build some more won't let you win, or maybe I didn't know, lol).


Atleast they should've made the final capture point i.e. the enemy's main base to be capturable only by force.
