Everyone is so obsessed with vista score. Haha, looks like Microsoft did a nice work to fool u guys into getting powerful hardware..wahaha

Well I was FOOLED to get a vista capable machine as media PC and ending up upgraded to a vista premium ready machine. IMO it is still a junk coz vista 64x machine is not pure video ready. Nvidia hasnt release PureVideo decoder for Vista as yet.AVIVO vs Purevideo

hoho..i'm from germany...n the vista is in german language...i didn't buy it..i got this free from my university and it is in bussines version..i thought i can get ultimate version..but cannot maa..ultimate version is expensive here.. sad.gif

any idea why processor,ram and graphic card details not showed there? the score for graphic gaming varies everytime i update the score?

for the details, there should be a button stating "show details". click on that, and you'll find all the details.

graphic gaming score keep on varying. that one i have no idea

The benchmark does not fool users. However, it is an indicator that will surely to be changed in the future, as the max score is 5.9.

Microsoft will change their scoring if new hardware/technology are available to them.

Right now, do not be too proud on your hardware because WEI is just a simple benchmarking system. You should put your hardware to the test using other commercial benchmarking tools.

Mine, aha, on Maxtor Diamond 9 SATA3.0 (8MB cache), I think Seagate SATA3.0 drives has faster sequential read than this one.
