Hi, I'm using a slim with 3.6m33 do i need to downgrade my fw in order to upgrade to 3.8m33?

Here is what i think i should do but i'm afraid to brick my psp. Please point out if there are any mistakes.

1.Copy the 3.8m33 Update folder to PSP/GAME/
2.Copy the 3.8 sony updater to the same folder(PSP/GAME/Update) and rename it to 380.PBP
3.Run the 3.8m33 update from the psp.
4.Remove the Update folder from the /PSP/GAME.
5.Copy the 3.8m33 Update2 folder to /PSP/GAME.
6.Run the 3.8m33 update2.
7.Remove the Update2 folder from the /PSP/GAME.

hmm.gif
I think the process is the same for 3.52 M33-3 and higher versions rite?

I've read that post earlier, but it's not clear enough. It didn't mention that it must be formatted to FAT32 to works.

Since my memory stick is already in FAT, I just reformat it in FAT. Tried reformatting several times and it still won't work. doh.gif

It only works after I formatted the memory stick to FAT32. smile.gif

The 380.PBP goes inside the UPDATE folder.

By the way, since this thread is for beginners like me, may I ask how to screenshot from my PSP? blush.gif
