need help from anyone who has withdrawn money from paypal to bank account before.

question about the name policy.
is it we must enter the last name and name in paypal account according to our true last name and name, or we swap them so we can get the same name as on the bank account?

for example,
on bank acount, our name is Lee X Y
so for surname i enter Lee and for name i enter X Y?

i'm afraid the different name policy in the US may make the name become X Y Lee and i cannot withdraw the money.

pm me if possible. thanks.

Added on November 6, 2009, 1:41 amalso, if the answer is according to our true name, i have already entered X Y as my surname on paypal account, which i cannot change and Lee as name. anyone has experience with that before?

Why would anyone want to sell paypal cheaper here now that you can withdraw directly into local bank without any charges?

Selling at cheaper rate means they are losing money.

The only reason it can be cheaper is to lure cheapskates into buying and then they reverse the fund. Or perhaps these people are doing something illegal that they cannot tie the paypal to their real details.
*

Not necessarily la bro.. i am a online seller, and I make about USD1000 eery week or so, in some weeks, i even change up to 10k USD when i do my product launches.

Paypal dont mind when i get the cash rolling into the account, but they get really suspicious when i try to withdraw, just becouse i dont sell from ebay .. They usually limit up to 18- days and such, and thats pretty hardocre for a online marketer like me to operate without a payment processor.

I sell 50% of my funds online as that brings down my account to look like normal i.e got money coming in, going out , and also being withdrawn .. Selling at a cheaper rate is something insignificant as i just lose a bit of money, while getting limited means i couldnt get the cash for 6 months..

Hope this helps

i have a question

i tried to buy something on9 using my paypal account, but i didnt link my credit card to it.

So today when i tried to buy something through paypal, they give me a page which tells me to link a credit card to their account.

"Link a card to make an instant payment
To complete this payment, add a debit or credit card to your PayPal account. Your card will not be charged unless the transaction amount exceeds your balance."

is it possible for me to not link my credit card, and buy something by using the USD money i bought from lowyat members only?

yes i think u can withdraw to maybank debit card or public bank debit card, but the card may not use again with other paypal account as they will record the card number and link to your limited account. The limit of withdraw amount is depend on your debit card.

I asked this a few pages back but didn't get a reply, so I'd appreciate it if someone could answer this for me:

If I buy paypal funds (in USD) from a local seller, it automatically gets converted to MYR? And there's another cost (exchange rate + fee) within Paypal to convert the bought payment back to USD?

If the seller transfer USD to you, then you will get USD.
No conversion involves here.

I inquired admin about personal shopper/help to buy from eBay or pay using PayPal on behalf of buyers.

Result is you are not allowed to do it after 14 Nov 2009.

To those that succesfully transferred your PayPal funds to your Maybank account, may I ask how long does it take for the funds to be transferred?
I've been waiting for 3 working days yet the funds is still not in my bank account.

Rule is rule liao. So I also need to stop on 14 Nov. It's ok for me tho just that I am worry when my PayPal n eBay wont be active liao. You know PayPal sensitive one la. If suddenly reuse after long time.

Maybe I should just change my thread become ebay spree? Like how they do they gmarket spree, USA spree, Japan spree, etc.

I wanna ask if I can use Malaysian registered PayPal in other countries? I heard will kena limit. I will be going out of country later, I wonder how to use if I wanna use in other country without kena limit. Anyone done this?

well i heard tat too, somehow paypal keep record of yr IP when u register account. Some ppl login with other country ip than the original one will get suspect by them...same apply if u use proxy server to login. Not sure how to solve it cos paypal got an automated system to record and judge on yr action, like a job performance review sweat.gif
