Yes, BT is ~5kbps, Limewire is slow to connect and 2-10kbps.

guys. juz wondering.. is jaring also hving trouble downloading via P2P? r they also throttling user's connection just as tmnet had done?

by the way.. the p2p throttle.. is it gonna be permanent or juz until tmnet fix the bloody cables?
i was thinking of ending my subscription with tmnet and applying for jaring.. but is jaring any better?

Well, consider it more of a permanent fixture. There won't be much difference going anywhere else either.

crap!! how come? is the gov imposing this to all d ISPs? What's d use of hving internet if u can download?

i read somewhere tht 20% of tmnet user r using up 80% of bandwidth. but we paid for d services didn't we. frankly, its tmnet's inability to provide d required bandwith tht should be questioned.

Salamander.. are there any other alternatives besides using proxies? somehow, i couldnt get d proxy settings right rclxub.gif

Emule/ED2K Support Thread
BitComet Thread
µTorrent Thread, Please share (P2P)
[脱兔 TuoTu] BT Client Guide, Not 100% confirmed will work. [BETA] (P2P)

FOR hardyboyz888
if there is any issue about the bt client itself
then you should move or merge their post in these thread
but not posting at here

Well it depends on what type of problem, if those problem such as 'I can't connect to....' or 'I have very low download speed' I will just leave it at Broadband User-2-User as it is part of networking too. Other than that I would move it to their official client thread. Thanks. smile.gif

let LYn member decide
whether to post in software section or Broadband User-2-User
but if it is related specific to bt client better go to the bt client itself in software
rather put everything inside here
the this discussion become rojak
will get headache

Agree on this, this is more like a rant topic for all P2P issues.

They're blocking eMule now. All UDP ports are closed, so you will always get firewalled.
