Jupiter not bad.
the response is very fast (after you enter an order, bursa receive your order almost immediately while maybank needs at least 30 secs to do so

I wandering anyone know the calculation of the brokering charges here in maybank2u.com.It will be better there is some example of the calculation been done which involve the stamp duty, clearing charge etc for the profit and loss calcultion on the buying and selling shares.

Another question here is whether the money after selling your shares will be deposited into your Premier 1 Account and if yes, can the money in the acc been transfer to another saving account.

You can read the guide on this here : http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1039913

Look at Part 3 : Commissions and brokerage fees.

My examples are based on Maybank's rates. However, they give rebates on the 10th of every month for those who open the accounts after September 2008. I think the promotion ends next month. Not too sure as I didn't ask maybank.

Yes, the money will be deposited into your Premier 1 account after 3 days. In order to transfer money to another account, I only know that you need to go to your maybank's investment centre or alternatively fax a completed form to them to instruct the transfer.

this is what i did - if you dun have a fax machine, you can scan / take picture of the document and email to any of staff at the branch where you open your account. Simply get to know one person and liaise him / her everytime. smile.gif

here's the document for your perusal. smile.gif

I just e-mail to the customer officer who serves my account for the transfer but before that I have signed a standing form to authorise them.

I do not really agree.. Maybank2u does not allow us to order direct to bursa malaysia. The order must go through the dealer first. This may cause late order to bursa malaysia. For exmp, we order as early as 8.15 am but we can view the order key-in at pass 9 am. For the case of thin volume, we may not trade that day. Do anyone face the same problem ??

M2U does all the clearing of dividend for you, however, I see that a fixed charge of RM2.50 is deducted from the amount. Also, you tend to receive the div a bit later (around 3-4 working days) probably due to cheque clearance & admin.

What mean here with the long waiting respond is on the buy sell popup window where you key in your buy/sell order.. It takes a very very long time to get verification window pop up can get the order placed. this happen even after trading hours between 7pm to 9pm and 8am to 9am.

I'm sure you too experiencing the same problem for the pass few months.
