Hi there, I would like to seek your help. I am experiencing laggy when I am playing games (any game) whenever I plug my laptop to my monitor. My monitor is 28 inch AOC. I have done some research and it has temporary solve my problem, which I need to set my monitor resolution to 1366x768 (my laptop native resolution). But it is very ugly and uncomfortable. I hope I can maintain the monitor resolution and play games without laggy. Just like how I play on my laptop without plugging into monitor. Thanks!!!

Could you atleast put you laptop specification in your question. It is not like every laptop in the market is the same.
But from little details you mention it sounds like your laptop graphic processing unit (GPU) is weak cant handle higher resolution.

That causes it to lag and stutter. Also do mention which kind of connection you're using to attach the monitor to your laptop.

Obviously your graphics card can't handle Full HD resolution at 1920 x 1080.
Either update the drivers or opt for HD Ready monitor and sell the 28" away.

You need to tell us what is your 28" monitor resolution and also your laptop GPU.
From your too little information, can only guess it is due to your laptop GPU is too weak to handle your 28" monitor resolution.
