what brand of RAM u put? I am plaaning to buy v3222 too with add on 1GB RAM(total 1.5GB). I think mine sure cant run in dual channel alr right? What ur comment about v3222? Have u try some games? I purcase this laptop for office use n when free ll playing C&C zero hour. I think should be ok kua. blink.gif

my add on RAM is Kingston 512MB 667Mhz but laptop original comes with Samsung 512MB 667MHZ...i found out both RAM are running different speed of stepping cycle....

U can do press 'fn' button and 'scroll/num lk' button and the num pad would be activated.

v3222 is using 667Mhz RAM....
but HP give me the wrong ram so my current ram is 1 piece 667 and 1 533Mhz..

lodge a complain to HP and they agree to change for me yay!!!!!

and got my LCD replace too... 1 dead sub-pixel muahahaha
change a new 1 for me!!!!!!!


Added on March 20, 2007, 5:09 pmsalute to HP customer care.. they are quite good....

of course if compare to dell... they are pretty good!!!!!!!

after install AMD CNQ and Dual Core Op.... seems like my bat can last 2 Hours Max oni........

Nah, I'm thinking to get V3222 soon... but kinda scared if the RAM could not run in dual channel mode which will affects the performance quite a lot.. especially I'm going to upgrade it directly to 2GB of RAM when I'm buying the lappy.. hmm.gif

Yeap, whole new set. Box etc all returned to them and replaced with new...

3218TU users here.

update Intel GMA driver.

However it still display 32MB video memory in the Intel GMA informations. Bios says 128 MB (XP only)

anyone having the same problem here?

as far I know V31XX user has problem
