Hi, I'm scouting for a notebook around rm2.3k to rm3.3k (yeah i know it's a big range hehe). I'm wondering if those V3200 with intel GPU can handle Vista aeroglass or not....

I do play games once in a while...so maybe i will go for AMD since that's the only way to get nvidia 6150. I'm looking at V3222 and V3133. I dont know if the dvdrw and additional 256kB L2 cache is worth RM700. So as the card reader etc....

Thanks for reading

If for gaming, i suggest u take the AMD model. The combination of AMD and GF have a better performance as well.

V3222 & v3202/133 not just the 256kb L2 cache and dvd-rw but also card reader, more USB port, anti-glare skin, bluetooth...So is worth to buy if u need all of this. The anti glare skin look so cool & shine biggrin.gif .

Anti glare skin makes it look like glossy? What is the difference between V3133 and V3203? The spec is the same but RM200 difference.. hmm.gif

Thanks for answering. smile.gif

I suppose you mean NHC?well, if the blue screen occurs, that means that the software is not compatible with Vista..check at their website if the software is vista compatible..

v3203 is new model with new keyboard & 120GB HD space(40GB more than v3133). If u still can found v3133 then just purchase that while u dont care about HD space.

last time when i used NHC it shows that my hdd temp around 43-45c when i'm not using..but when my cpu load increase, my hdd temp will be around 45-50c..never been higher then 50c..maybe for a few minutes it goes up more then 50c but then it goes down to around 45-50c..i think in your case, 55c is ok but to play save, get a cooler pad or use your laptop in an air-cond room..thats all i can advise you..hope it helps..

Hi guys,

I wanna ask if I want to add RAM, can I just go buy and plug in the RAM myself? Kingston RAM can use? or must I use back NANYA RAM? Btw, wll it spoilt the warranty? My V3000 still has 5 months warranty...

If it will spoilt the warranty then only thing I can do is add RAM at HP Service Center? What is the price for 1Gb DDR2 SDRAM 533MHz/667MHz? Anyone can tell whether V3040TU come with 533MHz or 667MHz ram?

Thanks..=)

Edited: Forgot to ask whether it is 533MHz or 667MHz for V3040TU d...

i'd checked..it's running 533MHz RAM now...my question, can I use 667MHz RAM instead of 533MHz? Comparing:

1) 512MB 533MHz + 1GB 533MHz
2) 1GB 667MHz

which one will have better performance?

Anyone can tell me V3040Tu is compatible to use 667MHz RAM? (and the price oso)
