hi all.... i already got the budget to buy a laptop for office use. budget 3.5k- 4k. My current top choice is compaq V3000 series with amd X2 tL 52. any other recommendations?

i am also contemplating getting a full fledge business note book. NX series

Problem solved. After installing the AMD driver..although mine is Intel.

i read somewhere in this thread that someone had tried installed the sound driver to AMD on Intel machine and it works...so i give it a try..

i still dunno what's the difference between the intel and amd version, except the version no. , amd one is older...

Using a V3125 and just installed Vista 32-bit on it. The overall performance rating is 3.0, which i think is not too bad since all Aero features are able to run smoothly.

for those who is getting 3 years extend warranty....how much is the price...RM199 or RM299.

when i asked HP...they said RM199 is only for old models of notebooks...

anyone who currently bought 3 years warranty can comment on this?

guys,

my old lappy is giving me keyboard problem
i type "a", it would show "b" on the screen

why is this happen?
and what can i do??

any of u succesfully installed win xp sp2 with all the drivers for V3223AU?

HP doesnot seems to offer any drivers for Win XP for this model. I had to use Win XP for acustomized software to work, so I need to forget bout the Vista that came with it atm.

their driver are mainly for the Vista (32xx series)
btw.. many ppl did successfully installed all the drivers
just need to take some time to get the correct driver working

harddisk gives mea high pitch "giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" sound when the laptop is on..even the harddisk is on idle..

the sound is not loud..but u can hear it when u put ur ears on the keyboard..

anyone the same ??

Yeah, mine sound the same too. Not noticable during normal usage.

U two using v32xx now? New laptop alr got problem liao ah? still considering to get it or not.Grr... scare will regret after buy it. Its look like v31xx model more stable than v32xx. sad.gif Am i right?

ya..i m on v3218TU.

using win xp. beside install driver is a headache..the high pitch sound which i guess it is normal for laptop..

everything is fine..and I like the speakers.. rolleyes.gif
