no need to oc la... i was thinking to do same thing..
if overclock we need to increase the voltage n at the same time the temp will up..
so we need 3rd party cooler.
so my advice better u upgrade ur hardware like ram or proc maybe? to get high performance on ur lappy... icon_rolleyes.gif

i've installed nVidia control panel in my v3119. In Performance > Manual Tuning > Adjust Motherboard Settings under System Clocks.... if i adjust the reference clock speed from 200 to 250MHz.... it shows CPU Core frequency as 2000MHz.

Is this same as overclocking cpu? is this safe? any idea?

Hi people. I own a hp compaq v3119. I noticed that the temperature level reached quite an alarming state of over 70 celcius after an hour's usage. Is it normal? It's running on AMD Turion x2 with 2gb worth of rams. The rest of the specs are the same.

p/s: Just bought this amd lappy a month ago. I also have another 3 months old v3000 series with c2d processor. Can i be added to the lists? rclxms.gif
