a non compatible ram wtf? it was added since i bought. why would the shop add a non compatible ram? thats very devious.

it has sometihn to do with the bluetooth NOT the rams. because the bluetooth uses the usbohci.sys file which causes the bsod. so whenever bluetootch isnt running, its fine. and the solution from hp support was to update the bios firmware.

what kinda solution are u giving me? change rams? -____-
*

I tried many time to contact HP. sad.gif
The only solution is change the compatible RAM. mad.gif

Friend, U using AMD model, right ? rclxub.gif
I know, if found do not make sense. shakehead.gif
U try turn on and off and on for bluetooth, U see u will get the msg or not. It is Nvidia chipset memory controller issue, u need to use HP tested RAM.......
I try all the BIOS from F8 to F13.. samething. shocking.gif

That is the solution for me and all. Not only u facing this problem! ohmy.gif
Be polite..... doh.gif no wtf for me, k

V3119AU user here,

The only thing i can share with you is , i myself quite satisfied with the stylish design of the notebook body sweat.gif

Performance wise, I counldn't tell you much.
I went for AMD just because i am a budget oriented user biggrin.gif

I am facing some problem with the latest driver of Quick Lunch Button.
There are few users in the same shoe.

One more thing, my LCD SCREEN is always DUSTY,
but there is no dust on my keyboard and other places on notebook.
Why?

have u ever did a debug on your dump files? from the way u tell me, i dont think so.
there isnt any connection between the ram's and the usb controller drivers.
and there is not such thing is F8 or F13 firmware for my bios. i dont straight away get the BSOD whenever i turn on bluetooth. it only happens on random basis, iv controlled my laptop with my handphone using bluetooth remote desktop. it worked fine. HP tested rams? im using identitical rams. so whats your other solution then?

Of course you will feel the heat if you are using AC power.
The level of heat is acceptable compared to my old twinhead.

There is no HP Compaq service center at Lowyat Plaza.
You need to go to HP Tower, Damasara for sevice.

FYI, HP customer service is very good.

I think RM300 is (return depot) 2 years warranty.
Try to get the quotation of On-Site 2 years warranty.

I extended my warranty to 3 years at RM199 only biggrin.gif
They had promotion last month.

installed windows vista RTM on my friends notebook... installation went smoothly... there were a few driver updates but they worked perfectly fine. using windows update. synaptics, hp quick launch, nvidia geforce go 6150 drivers...

it went smooth with Aero after that... surprising that microsoft has quick launch drivers as well... didnt try the x64 version as my friend didnt partition it properly...

after the video driver update. the notebook got a 2.4 score for the graphics... he upgraded his RAMs to 2GB... anyone planning to run windows Vista, i highly recommend 2GB at least... windows vista takes up 500+ MB of RAM by itself... lol...

no such thing, i have heard of a hp buying 2gb ram kit from the hp/compaq themselves, and is certified to be able to run with no problems. plugged it in and BSOD. even the ram manufacturer took the lappie in for 3 days to see why the CERTIFIED ram could not run on the lappie but couldnt find the solution to it.
