I have a fren who has the compaq presario v3010AU..his specs almost the same as the laptop im looking at..(v3203AU)...only difference is the +60gb for hard disc....and he bought it last year..october..2006..AMD processor..really outdated for Turion 64x2...haiz...L2 cache..AMD has only 1mb isit? Intel has 2mb? should i buy intel core 2 or amd????sigh...read some comparison charts for core 2 and amd..really core 2 is faster...encoding videos and compressing...haiz haiz haiz..

my laptop got problem.... after show me a colorful screen and hanged,,, cannot restart anymore... but all the lights stil on.. anyone know what is happening... help...

Hello V3250 Users!

I was experience something that was i heard about this AMD X2 Spec!

Just after battery power reach 3%, then the lappy will go to stand by as default windows xp setting.

the problem is after i press power button, this lappy show the wallpaper without icon or anything should appear again! Huh...

So anybody know what the action have to take for eliminate this kind of error acting

Ehemmm.. take note about amd and intel. They have their own approach to counter the data processing speed.

Generally, intel keep on increasing their cache. How about amd? ahaaa... find it out. its interesting.

don't get tied with advertisement info.

is there anyone facing the same prob wif my lappy???
i juz bought my pc v3250AU in this week,,, but curiously i found tat my lappy cant shut down properly everynight. at 1st i tot is my pc use too long, but for today i juz used less than 2 hours. the prob come out again..
can anyone can help or anyone facing wif this kind of prob?

wOops, I did mentioned I was in a single player mode, and enable all cheatcode, and can reveal the map all the time, my purpose just to try out how lag will it be, as my current desktop will lag too

@ Evelynn
perhaps its your OS problem? as you said shutdown, I dont think its hardware problem. do scan for malware/virus

im still experiencing freeze screen for 1-2 sec

but look like its not happen that often anymore.. somehow the software for graphic card will missing some file for unknown reason and need reinstall back

overheating perhaps?
as mine I put 1 clothes under my laptop, because my table is dirty

before I put, its about 54 max, then when I put clothes under laptop, it will go up to 58-60

but still, I dont face any freeze screeen like you.

I bought V3250AU with 2GB from John_jay at Aone lowyat. So far the NB is ok. System showed 512mb GC memory, but I guess its just 256MB. Played Heroes MOM 5 at low setting only. Performance wise is bottleneck might be the CPU or HD, coz I multitask a lot.

**But I am having a problem here. I plug in my earphone but sound still come out from the speaker. I checked all driver already. Anyone experiencing the same problem? Any help?**

p/s: btw the Altec Lansing speaker is one of the best I heard so far from all NB and the design, Cun man.

then wat shud i do? it wont happen everytime...but everynite when i want to shut down and sleep the screen will keep stay at logging and force me to shut up manually...pls help me..

AMD Turion64x2 is tageted on par wit DuoCore ...so if u are planning to take a Core2Duo ..sure it out performance it ..coz AMD hav yet to release new proc to rival C2D yet ...

or pehaps you can look back few page before here, to check for the Notebook Hardware Control, and ya, it needs .Net Framework 2.0 before installing.

ur version is preloaded wit OS ? if yes then just take it back to the shop and ask them to fix it ..

ir is freedos, you should try reformat the os to make sure if it is the software problem or hardware ..

And every hdd selling at LYP is compatible with V3203?
And where can i get the cheapest V3203?(with DOS)
Last question, V3203 intel vs V3203 amd, which one will you choose?(since the price is RM100+- difference only)

No, you cannot add a graphic card in V3203 or any notebooks lol..

Just tell them ur notebook model and they will recommend compatible ram

Tre source fron John from lowyat ..

Get the AMD version coz the integrated graphic is Nvidia geforce 6150 better than Intel Extreme Graphics altho noth is shared memory ..
