Use http://www.trendmicro.com/hc_intro/default.asp to scan it online to identify potential threat.

Yesterday I think I also kena similar error and found spywares inside my comp. My AVG also cannot detect it... better check properly.

i think wat he mean is..
now ur lappy having 1.5G of ram, obviously that's is 512+1G ram.
due to different size of ram, they cant run dual channel...
unless u change the 512 to another 1G... make it 2X1G (and also same speed), then is dual channel already.
*

nah seriously. i also asked him whether lappie can run dual channel with same ram speed, same brand everything the same...and he said no. i was quite puzzled with what he said. it's pretty confusing. there's no reason why lappie can't run dual channel, given the right ram chips are installed. but oh well, he's probably not well informed.

Guys,
get my
Need help. I can't seem to my audio for my V3218TU to work.

I've installed the Microsoft UAA Bus Driver, then I continued to install the Conexant Audio file. What happens is that when during the Conexant Audio file installation, a pop-out message came out, stating the following:

"ERROR: Driver Installation Failed: Could not find the MEDIA device for this driver."

What should I do?

Thanks.

That is a stuck pixel, not a dead pixel. A dead pixel will be dead, therefore it will not lit up and you can determine a dead pixel by changing your background to white and look for a tiny black dot.

What people normally do when there is a stuck pixel, you rub it gently in circular motion, and there are a slight chance it will go away. Or you can try to download some stuck pixel fixing software.

For more info on how to fix a stuck pixel, refer here:

Don't bother trying to fix it. Most times it doesn't work. Doing the rubbing method may also damage your screen further, so you're risking your warranty.
I'd suggest bringing it to HP, telling them how annoying/distracting this is on a NEW laptop (emphasise the point). They should be able to replace the screen for you.
