This is my cpu temp using Core Temp

Spec:
Proc : E8400
Mobo : GA EP45-DS3
Cooler : Arctic Cooler Alpine

Idle
C1 : 37~41
C2 : 37~41

Full load (when encoding divx movie)

C1 : 61
C2 : 61

Is this normal. Actually I want to buy Freezer 7 pro but no stock in my town.

Last night, I try to play Devil May Cry 4 but suddenly comp shutdown (not restart). Is it because of processor over heating? But I check again, when playing, the maximum cpu temp are 47 only. Encoding divx movie produce more heat than playing DMC4.

computer shut down could be cpu overheating... and can be due to other factors as well like psu not enuf juice....

btw, i can say the load temp is quite normal for the type of cooler u are using....

I check System error and found out that System shutdown due to graphic card over heating. After I check using ATI Catalyst CC, the temp are 66~67 without playing any game! So hot. BTW I'm using Sapphire HD2600XT.

Any suggestion for a good vga cooler? Less than RM100 if possible bcoz the gc only cost RM200, so if cooler is over half of the price, better I get other cheap GC.

Already de-dust. Still the same.
Don't know how to set the fan speed.

Finally I was force to buy VGA cooler. I bought Evercool Turbo 2 Dual Heatpipe Universal VGA Cooler . Actually the price is move expensive here in my town. But now the GC is 20 C cooler.

For idle, the temp is 48~50 and 60~62 when loaded.

But I wonder why GC chipset is more hotter than processor? Is it normal?
