cFospeed and cFospeed Dial-in ISD/PPPOe or watever...what's that?

just re-installed just now...still same problem, BSOD and can't connect to the internet, it says no connection, even i can't login to Modem/Router web-configuration too...

QUOTE
3. Tracert does not work

Tracert does not seem to be working on your system. If you do not use a firewall or you use one that does let pings of SPD.EXE through, pings and incoming replies are likely being blocked by another component.

If you are using a router, it must also be set to allow pings to pass through. Configure your router so that cFosSpeed can send outgoing pings (ICMP echo requests - type 8) and receive ping replies (ICMP echo reply - type 0) in addition to time-outs (or ICMP TTL/time exceeded - type 11). You may have to restart your router for these changes to take effect.

Now repeat step 2 above, using the "tracert www.cfos.de" command. Should there still be no pings coming through, chances are your Internet provider may be filtering such data out. In this case, you should contact your provider..

Last possibilty: Disable your firewall and try again. If this still doesn't help, deinstall your firewall and try again.

How do you allow ping ? my router doesn't have this setting, i'm using DB102 Riger modem

yeah improvement on web browsing and streaming media. Remember to check the setting for priorities setting for each program. As i know, the bt download is set as lower priority means when u surfing and playing game or streaming media.. the download of bt is limited and give full speed for other higher priority programs.

from the cfossped:

Note: Transfer of low(est)-priority packets is slowed only if data with a higher priority is being processed at the same time. Otherwise, low(est)-priority data is, of course, sent at maximum speed.

about the favour ping time / favour bandwidth.. i choose ping time for online gaming and choose back bandwidth for web browsing and downloading wink.gif online games should be more concern about the ping time between ur pc and the games servers. coz u dont really wish to die just stand there to let mobs pawn right? laugh.gif

Hmmm you don't have to let it run for a week non-stop. You may off and on it as you like. Just remember.. don't press 'calibrate line' cos that will reset everything and you have to let it run for another week or so.

All settings are set to default for me. Except for BT software, I set the priority a lil higher and also for my Warcraft.. we all know why right? brows.gif

TIP: If you guys want it to calibrate faster, try to use your e-mail and attach a 10MB file and send it to yourself. The uploading will make cFosSpeed calibrate faster so that you don't need to wait for one whole week.

Thats in Euros... haven't heard of that currency?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euro
It is the currency of counties in the European Union which is Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain..

cFosSpeed is done by a German company thats why they charge in Euros..

Somehow I wish I could be selling the license of these software myself. It seems like the response is really good here..Can make a lot of money laugh.gif

By right, it should be the lowest priority. So that it doesn't interfere with your surfing. But then, I don't use BT while I am surfing anyway... I use it only before I sleep so I set it to highest priority.
