i guess the amount of the dedicated memory doesnt really matter huh? (1gb of GT130m to 512mb of 9700mgt)

9300M is the rebadge from 8400m wif a little performance increment.
8600m has a lot of well known problem aka Defect GPU chip.

4870 is pretty rare in the market...

anyway, the clock of THE GPU is pretty low... probably can't fully utilize GDDR5 also...

4850 is getting common in high end laptops though...

but i myself prefer to see 4860...

4860 is a downclocked 4830 right? it only has 640 shaders if not mistaken wouldn't the high clock gives out more heat?

4860 is the mobile version of desktop 4770...

somehow in benchmark, it's slightly faster than 4850... probably cuz 4850 has been downclocked severely compared to desktops version...

performance in ascending order...

4830 (640SP, 128bit, GDDR3)
4850 (800SP, 256bit, GDDR3)
4860 (640SP, 128bit, GDDR5)
4870 (800SP, 256bit, GDDR5)

strange, but true (as AMD claims so)...
